Mayra Daniela Fraijo serves as Managing Associate at MLA, where she plays a central role in overseeing the firm’s client relationships and case portfolios. With a strong foundation in intellectual property, transactional law, and cross-border legal matters, Mayra brings both strategic insight and operational discipline to every engagement.
She leads the firm’s docketing and case coordination across multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on optimizing client intake, streamlining internal workflows, and enhancing service delivery. Her approach combines legal precision and technology-driven solutions with a deep commitment to client responsiveness, ensuring that matters are handled efficiently and with the highest level of care.
Mayra earned her Bachelor of Laws, from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in Guadalajara, Mexico, with a specialization in International Trade Law. During her academic career, she received an Honorable Mention for distinguished academic activity and held leadership roles in several student organizations. She is admitted to practice law in Mexico.
She later obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law from the University of California, Berkeley, where she contributed to the Berkeley Journal of International Law and the Berkeley Anti-Trafficking Project. Her academic work includes coauthoring a scholarly piece on digital violence and the regulation of deepfakes, published by the Berkeley Journal of Gender, Law & Justice’s Under Deconstruction blog.
Mayra remains active in the pro bono space, leading initiatives at MLA and pursuing anti-trafficking efforts as a personal commitment. Her work in this area is guided by a strong understanding of international legal frameworks and a dedication to advancing equity and access through legal advocacy.
